When not caring for patients, Dr. Eastman enjoys traveling, reading, good food, and relaxing with family and friends.
Why a patient should choose treatment at your practice?
Patients who choose to be treated at Texas Oncology Rockwall/Mesquite have access to comprehensive breast cancer care as the Surgeon, Medical Oncologist, and Radiation Oncologist are all within the same office.
Why did you become a doctor?
I became a breast surgeon because I have an interest in women’s health, and because it was important for me to be in a surgical field that allowed me to have a long-term relationship with my patients.
What is your personal philosophy around patient care?
Knowledge is power. As a physician, it is my job to effectively communicate with patients so that they understand their disease process and their treatment options. With that knowledge, they can hopefully make a decision regarding their care that they are comfortable with.
