Kory Jones, M.D., FACS, is a board-certified surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr.
Jones graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in biology.

She received her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX. Dr.
Jones then went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas,
TX.

There she served as chief resident in her final year and developed her passion for breast surgery and ultrasound
techniques. She joined Arlington Surgical Associates in 2007.

This practice then became a part of USMD Medical System in 2015. During that time, she has continued to
hone her skills as a breast surgeon by attending regular national conferences and education opportunities.

She is certified in Hidden Scar Surgery, practices flat aesthetic closures and continues education in oncoplastic
and ultrasound procedures. In joining Texas Breast Specialists, Dr. Jones looks forward to continuing to care
for patients with all breast concerns including cancer and benign diseases of the breast.

She feels that it is an honor to care for patients and their families during such a stressful time and in the years
that follow from diagnosis through survivorship. Dr. Jones takes an individualized approach with each patient
and believes that the care for breast cancer should be approached in a multidisciplinary fashion and with
respect to the patient’s individual wishes and circumstances.
